Guided by the sword, Ronath, Soren and Mikelo make their way slightly downward. It has been four hours since you parted with Vanilla, Ceri and the wererats, and you have yet to come across anything of interest.

At some point, the sword starts slowing down until you're level with it.
"I need a new bearer. This endless floating is draining my powers. Who volounteers?"

Ronath looks at the sword and says"I'll volunteer. The longsword is after all Heironous's favourite weapon."
Soren looks at the sword and says"Aye laddie, Ronath be the best choice out of the 3 of us."

Soren will again take point with Ronath and the sword slightly behind him.

"I'll volunteer also, I specialize in combat with long swords." Mikelo says from the rear of the formation.

"No offence, priest, but wing-boy seems to be more of a warrior than you. I can't sit idly by in your hand while you're praying for healing of your comrade. I need to help cover you back while you're doing so," the sword says, then adds, "plus I doubt Heironous agrees with some of my decisions.." in a low voice.

Ronath looks at the sword and says" OK, my blade was a gift from the others in my order and I honour it well. It does stand by me."

"Can you remember which way you came after fighting the driders?"

 

"I jumped them a while back, and chased the lone survivor into a side passage to the right right over there," the sword points with its tip at a bare wall, "only, there's no side passage any more.. Dwarf, try to find out if it hasn't just been hidden while we watch your back."

Search for secret passages & doors etc.

OK I tried to use the "Show the dice in the post before you post" idea..... It didn't show the dice results.

If Soren doesn't find something, he'll spend the next couple of minutes searching the area for secret doors.... (Take 20)
Ronath will help him if necessary

You look for several minutes, but the wall is nothing but a wall. Nothing is there, and nothing seems to ever have been there. "Now what?" the sword asks and frustration flows from it into Mikelo's hand, up his arm and into his entire body until it fills it to the brim.

Ronath and Soren suggest that they continue up the corridor as quietly as they can until they come to another passageway.

"Alright" Mikelo says to his own surprise in a harsh, metallic sound. His head spins, then the heavy mood leaves him, leaving him only himself. "Sorry" the sword mutters..

Mikelo coughs and says "Try not to do that anymore." to the sword."So... What now?"

We head down the corridor some more and see if we can find the drow.

The party moves cautiously down the corridor, searching for side passages along the way. Finally, you come to a crossroads. No less than six tunnels connect here, going in different directions.
One tunnel goes steeply downward, one straight up (so that's out of the question), two to the left and right, both downwards, one straight ahead and the last is the one you came from.

Which way?

"Sword? Dwarf? Which way do we go?" Mikelo asks, having no sense of direction underground.
