Dogs in the Vineyard is a western where you play the "Watchdogs" of the Faith, holy bad-asses travelling from town to town and seeking out sin and protecting the people. You've got a fine, quilted coat, a horse and a big gun and the authority to use it.
Character creation is pretty simple and the rules make for dramatic, meaningful play.
