Jack (thinking, not saying): "Interresting.  I wonder what's going on here."

Professor Stewart continues "My name is Professor Stewart, I am an Antiquity Scholar currently studying the Hetepkan civilization. I have moved from the region of Staufendorf to Lonely shores to study those ruins that haven't been damaged or picked clean of any information and relics. Two weeks ago, my assistants and I were attacked by local bandits. My assistants were slain and I was wounded and unfortunately I had to leave behind some artifacts. After managing to drag myself back to Lonely shores, I was dismayed to find this warehouse ransacked and most of my recent finds were stolen.

"I have spoken to Miles Devon, the commander of this godforsaken village, who told me that he thought the bandits were part of a notorious sesheck bandit band lead by sevren bandit Krung.

"Tell me about yourselevs, did you have any problems getting here? "

vaashin"Nothing of importance we ducked into a crypt for shelterfrom the storm but there wasnt anything truely notworthy there "

Jack: "I'm looking forward to exploring the ruins.  It should be interesting."

Brelsan: "I am certain there is much that we can learn from the ancient civilizations that will be to the benefit to all of us.  At the very least we can learn from the mistakes they made."

The Professor looks at Romul and Eldan and says to Frank"You were supposed to find me a party of good adventurers not 1/2 good and half evil.
I don't know whether I can work with these people."He turns to `Jack and Breslan and says"Can you vouch for these two and keep them under control or will they try to rob me at the earliest opportunity?"

OOC: Vaashin, he was trying to work out if you were good or evil for the express purpose of hiring a good aligned party. His reactions to the party now will take a penalty cause he thinks Romul and ELdan are evil."Sorry it's taken so long but I've been working really hard with long hours as well as working out what reaction the Prof should have had.

Jack: "I don't know any of these people well, but they didn't do anything obviously evil on the way here.  Breslan also seems comfortable enough... and you know how priests are about these things."

The professor gets down to business, "I would like to hire you to protect myself and Frank here on our continuing journeys to the carrion swamp ruins. It is around 100 miles away and I am willing give you anything magical we find along the way as well as half of any precious artifacts that we may find. The only thing you have no share in is any and all Hetepkan cultural artifacts. I will also buy anything you find at 50% of the appraised value of the item.

The ruins may be overgrown and probably we won't be able to recognise it but we'll do the best we can."

Jack: "I'm in."

Breslan: "I will come as well."

The Professor ssays"We'll need a couple of days to get everything ready so why don't you take the time to get to know the area and the fort. You'll be able to rest at the inn though its not the standard you're probably used to."
