    Nova:
    Ironshield:
Ironshield defends himself as best he can from the energetic kobold's attacks and responds in kind. If given the opportunity to he will move to assist Shaggy with the kobold that is attacking him. Once done he'll make for the leader and dispatch it as quickly as possible.

OOCWill use Tide of Iron on the one attacking me and push it straight back if successful. Covering Attack to help with the one on Shaggy, and Comeback Strike as a lead in on the leader to recover some hp if bloodied otherwise just basic attacks.

As for a second character I can make one. Just tell me what class we could use a character of and I'll make it.

Um,,,those are all standard actions.....Which one are you using THIS round? And on which Kobald?

OOCStart with Tide on the one attacking me and basic attacks after that. Once it is dead move to Covering on the near Shaggy, beat it down. And so on.

Re: Nova's Keep on the Shadowfell 4e Game (Part 1)

Sorry about being out for a couple of days but bad things have been happening and I'm still not feeling very well.  Guess I read your attack wrong so if its not to late Star did the Lance of Faith on the Green Weenie that had attacked Shaggy.

    Attack 20 + 3 = 23

    Damage 3 + 3 = 6

+2 power bonus goes to Shaggy saince he is the one in my line of sight along with his opponenet.

Okay I'm up with a crit hit with weapons but still not sure about magic attacks in this game so I'm not sure what I should do.  Either its a critical hit and I don't need to roll damage or I just give maximum damage to the green weenie which in this case would be (11).  Sorry, I'm reading the book but I am still not wrapping my head around the differences between this and old school.  Old dogs take longer to learn new tricks.

) Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

Ok, roll your attack: You use the 3 last items on the bar (a drop down which reads "Insert Dice" and the button that looks like a d6 allow you to put die in the thread in different ways.

Don't worry about it: You autohit and do max dmg, no roll needed (UNLESS you have die which ONLY appear in on a crit, then you roll them, ie if you have a weapon that deals 1d8 + an additional d6 on a crit, when you roll a crit you'd do 8+1d6)

Will go try and find my notes under my home game stuff. Sorry about the lack of update yesterday, I left to play D&D at someones house at 8:30am and got back at 2:30am.

And the kobald goes down in a spray of blood, your spell burning into him with the heat of one thousand suns.

Re: Nova's Keep on the Shadowfell 4e Game (Part 1)

Well, its with a sad heart I have to say I'm closing the game. I've got 3 days left until I move back to uni and I don't think that once I do I'll be able to keep the game running. I've only got 2 players left and frankly I'd rather end it now then keep missing updates. I may do something like this if future and I'd be glad to have any of you back for that. Sorry about leaving it this way.

Well it was interesting and I have a taste of the new system.  I have a feeling a few days over a table with a group would help everybody get into the game quicker.  Star disappears into the wilderness ot do his missionary work, Shaggy is going to get revamped so I'll be better prepared for next time around with you or somebody.
