    In a Wicked Age...

...the fey and unfriendly guardians of an enchanted glade...

...a ruthless bully of an under-officer with high ambitions...

...a golden armlet, still on the skeletal arm of its owner...

...the son of a great tyrant, born crippled and denied his inheritance.

In this wicked age, gods contend with mortals for power, civilization and laws are new and no one is their master, you cannot choose your birth, but your fate is what you make it.

I'd like to try a game of "In a Wicked Age" here in the forums.  The setting is vague, but reminiscent of "Conan".  It's sweaty, bloody, dirty and sexy and full of possibilities.  In this chapter, we'll be telling the story of the above elements: the fey guardians, the ruthless under-officer, the crippled son and the golden armlet.  Everybody gets a character, and their conflicts tell the story.

I'm looking for two or three players, but it could work with as few as just one.

Anybody interested in playing unfriendly fey guardians, a bullying under-officer, his superior, his underlings, a tyrant, his crippled son, his heir, or possibly a skeleton with golden armlet?

    Let me know.

Hmmmm....doesn't really sound like conan to me. More Fafard and the Grey Mouser....Conan was alway heroic....

Well, yes, that's in the same "Swords & Sorcery" genre, just different characters.  These characters might be heroic if you want them to be (though that'd be a stretch for the under-officer), like the tyrant's heir or the crippled son or the under-officer's lieutenant or even the fey guardians (unfriendly heroes, though ;)).

But either way, a primitive time of heroes and villains without the "structure" of the medieval period.

It might be fun.  It would certainly be an experiment.

Well, I don't think its really to my taste, but I'll spread the word for you, is this another story engine game?

Nope, this one uses it's own ruleset.  It's not a big deal if nobody's interested right now, though.  I've already got one game starting, so that will keep me busy enough for now.
