Okay, I found it. It's just not what I'm used to. My mistake.

I'm used to phpBB and YaBB.

Grr...Macs...I'll never forgive them...I was forced to use them throughout most of elementry school...the old Mac Classic's, then the new colour ones that crased a lot, then at the end the iFruits. *Shudder*

My problem with Macs (And Windows to a lesser extent) is that they allow you to use a computer without LEARNING about it, which allows many virus infections, which creates botnets and such and slows down the internet for the rest of us. I think in High School or mabey even elementry school their should be mandatory classes explainning basic concepts: This is a window, a file is X, this is diffrent than an application which is Y. All files must end in a file extension. GRRRR. It would save me SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much work becuse I have to teach them this stuff now.

Hum. For some reason, the "create link" button doesn't work for me anymore. I click the "create link button", I fill out the appropriate fields in the popup, but when I hit "OK" nothing appears in the message window.

Maybe it has something to do with the third field, the "Target" Field. What exactly does it do, and what do the various options mean? Maybe if I understood it better, I could find a way to stop this from happening.

Or it could be my new browser. I just recently started using Firefox, so let me go try the ol' trusty IE.

Okay, I'm gonna test this with IE.

Here's a roll I made earlier, and am going to link to: 1d20+5 equals

No good. Well, at least with IE, I can copy-paste a URL which instantly makes a link, so I can go into the HTML tab and edit it from there. With firefox, it only makes text.

This was totally freaking me out.  But I think I have it figured out.  You have to highlight the text you want linked first.  then it works.  otherwise there is nothing to be made into a link.

You "might" think the title would be the text, but the title is actually the help text that shows up when you move your mouse over the link.  As to target, the target is whether it opens in a new window or not, or an existing window.

Ah, thanks there, Richard. It was messing up my brain as well. It'll be a lot of help, since I stink at actual HTML. Every time I try to write up an HREF code in the HTML tab, it never works.

IS it just me or does the first die roll you insert not work?

I think it means similar to the trouble I originally had: if you don't place your cursor somewhere in the textbox then the die-roller prints your dice code at the top of the text box but is uneditable and it disappears when you finish your die roll.
