OOCWell I'm still here but I don't know who else is or what they are doing. I am hanging out to dry here, I can talk to the Lord of the city and dig up more info on the cult, hopefully, or I can follow the party out the gate and go wrestle some booger men. If there is a party going out the gate. A willing Dwarf fighter and a reluctant Half/Elf Cleric isn't much of a fighting party.

Alright, here's my plan. Since hyour pretty sure finding the Prof is time sensitive, and nothing else on  your list realy is, why don't we assume you all go do that, and figure out the rest latter? We'll see who shows up for combat and figure out where to go from there.

Storyboard mode: OK, you all assemble at the town gates and Iornsheild guides you to the south. Everyone make me a preception check.

Ok, so I've uploaded an updated marching order. Any objections?

Re: Nova's Keep on the Shadowfell 4e Game (Part 1)

Wellp, I think we've lost Bragon so I guess we should just move on without him. Ironsheild, do you want to make another character? We should get another person back when the Drow returns from Europe and I can just reduce the encounters till then. Or we could just end the game: I have to go back to uni in a couple weeks (I move back in on the first) and don't know how long I can keep running the game after that. I'd have to move to some other form of maps at least.

Anyway, I'm going to keep running till I'm told to stop or run out of time, so:

War cries break from the underbrush as several small figures dart from hidng places. They are similar to the creatures you fought earlier, but much better armed.

Suddenly one of the creatures with an air of athourity runs up in front of you and spews acid at you, covering the party

    Shaggy: 11 vs Fort

    Star: 26 vs Fort

    Ironsheild: 17 vs Fort

and it does: 10 dmg on a hit, Half Dmg on a miss.

The Koblad then yells something to its companions who stand up straighter and run at you.

The small, fast one runs up, makes as if its going to attack, suddenly leaps to the side and then attacks Ironsheild,

    attk: 9
    dmg: 8+5

The Kobald that attacked Ironsheild's descriptoion: This nible reptilian figure has brown-red scales, wears dark leather armour, and grasps a spear and light shield.

A much more heavyset kobald, that you've already identifyed as a Dragonshield attacks shaggy, using much the same tactic of coming in from the side, then shifting to the front to be closer to its companion and protect the leader of the group.

    attk: 25
    dmg: 8

and the leader in the backs description: Thes reptilian humanoid wears a bone mask carved to resemble a dragon's head. The creature also carries a spear and wears a crimson coloured hide armour.

Ok, map to follow. laptops out of batteries, will post in an hour or so.

Ironshield defends himself as best he can from the energetic kobold's attacks and responds in kind. If given the opportunity to he will move to assist Shaggy with the kobold that is attacking him. Once done he'll make for the leader and dispatch it as quickly as possible.

OOCWill use Tide of Iron on the one attacking me and push it straight back if successful. Covering Attack to help with the one on Shaggy, and Comeback Strike as a lead in on the leader to recover some hp if bloodied otherwise just basic attacks.

As for a second character I can make one. Just tell me what class we could use a character of and I'll make it.

Cool, we lack a wizard and a stricker so take your pick. Wizard will keep your minion problems down, sticker will take the pig guys down....and no I've not read that far into the mod for a LONG time, so I can't remeber which to bring. You'll have a Drow rouge eventually...I hope.

    Oh, roll your attacks.

    OOCAttack Rolls:
    Tide of Iron (1d20+4):
    18
    Covering Attack (1d20+4): 15
    Comeback Strike (1d20+4): 12

Let me know if I need to do other attack rolls and/or damage rolls. Might bring in a striker as my second character.

Re: Nova's Keep on the Shadowfell 4e Game (Part 1)

    Star

Is down to 0 so I guess he sits out this one

    Shaggy

Takes 6 points of damage from the acid and gets a little riled

    Initiative  1 + 1 = 2

Against the green weenie in front of me

    Cleave attack 15 + 6 = 21

    Hit 5+6 + 6 = 17

+3 damage on the big ugly next to me
