    Old Grump:
    Star

Friend I am Star a cleric devoted to the service of Bahamut but I am working with the church of Pelor to investigate a death cult reported to be moving on Winterhaven.  If the report is true I am here to collect as much information on them and hopefully disband or destroy them before they get overly strong.  Anything you know of this affair such as names or location of cult cells or the location of their keep would be of immense value.  My companions and I would move on them but we know little of this area or who to look for.  would you help us please?

Still unpacking, will post when I find the mod.

OOCOk, found the mod (it was inside a magazine)

"Cults? Like a death cult of something? Wow, wouldn't that be something to see. Do you think they sacrifice victims to the Raven Queen or some foul demon? Where did you say theses sacrifices were happening? Can I go see?"

    Aabra:
The RP has really been dragging on and on.  It's hard for me to keep interested when nothing has actually happened.  If we were all together it would be much shorter, but because people have time to post they tend to come up with these super-elaborate things and conversations/situations which is only fun if it doesn't last forever.  *shrug*  Just assume that Bragon and Aabrax smile and nod through everything for a while.  I'll keep checking daily and once we get to a combat encounter I'll be back posting with a vengence.

OOCWell you could try asking people if they've seen Douvenn, I mean that IS why your here.

You all here  the sounds of wagons and people talking drifting in from outside, as well as the sounds of large items being moved and the snap of canvas.

Also I'm posting the  map of the town, despite the fact no ones looked around yet:

    Shaggy

Shrugging at the fighters silence I shoulder my pack, hang my maul and axe on my belt, clamp my hat firmly over my head and twirling my pike like a baton go outside to see what the commotion is about.  Walking towards where I see the most people I look over the caravan that I can see...

) Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

    Star

I blink my eyes in surprise at the old man's simple minded answer and realize quickly I won't get any useful information here.  Following Star's lead I shoulder my pack and crossbow in hand I head for the door.  Not having any interest in a group of dusty travelers I tell Shaggy I'll see him later and turn to the right and walk towards the stable.  Walking around the back of the caravan I glance at them.  (Do I see anything of interest)

OOC:  Huh?  I'm just here to map the keep.  Or at least Bragon is.  I've already got my map sheet/quill and everything.

I finish the porridge and call the innkeeper over.
"First, I wish to thank you for this excellent meal. Second, I'm looking for a friend of mine that they may have come this way," I describe him as best I can. "He may have mentioned a tomb. Do you know if he came this way?"

OOCahoyhoy everyone, how goes? I'm just dropping you a line from Prijedor, Bosnia & Herzegovina to tell you I'm alive. I'll be home eventually, lol.
I miss you all and can't wait to get home to continue, hopefully my presence will spur the role play on.
Lol, what a narcissistic comment. XD

Sorry, not sure where I gave the impression that there was a caravan:

You get outside and fine that the square has been filled with tents and stalls and a reasonably busy marketplace has sprung up and most of the village has gathered to buy the weeks supplies! Farmers are selling produces, hunters are selling smoked meats, villagers are selling grafts, and there's even an out of town merchant selling various implements and other goods. (Let me know if you want to buy anything). The nearest stall holds an attractive elf selling wildflowers.

"I do remember a fellow by that name. He had a room here for a time. He had some businesses with Eilian (she gestures to the old man eating breakfast). Funny thing is he disappeared one day and never returned. I never did find out what happened to him.

About this time people from the market begin to file in and order breakfast now that they have there stalls set up.

    Shaggy

I wander the market and buy 2 sacks, 1 large and 1 large enough to hold 10 pounds of smoked bear meat or any other kind of strong smoked meat, plus 2 pounds each wild onions and garlic, 1/2 pound black pepper and 1 pound salt. 2 water bags and then over to the Elf flower seller where I buy 2 bouquets of blue and white flowers and ask her to braid them into my beard while I ask about any suspicious signs of strange groups or of any old temples or castles being occupied lately after years of vacancy.

    Diplomacy 19

OOCWagons rolling, canvas flapping loud enough for us to hear in the inn made me think lots of wagons coming into town, not a problem thats why I stepped out to take a look see.
