New Eberron PBF: LVL 4, looking for players
richardm 7/5/2006

The waves lap against your feet while you and your friends enjoy a peaceful evening fishing at the docks.  The pitcher of ale is half empty and a pleasant buzz fills your thoughts which more than makes up for the lack of fish.  Your weapon sits at your side, forgotten, the reason for it being brought lost in a pleasant blur.

The night began much differently, you and your friends having decided to find out for yourselves why the town elder Jharo and a couple others had vanished over the past few weeks.  Tense and ready for a fight, hours of boredom went by with nary a splash other than the toss here and there of your fishing line being tossed out.

The moons are small and dark tonight, and the ring of siberys shining brightly reflecting in a strip across the waves.

I want to start a new Eberron campaign once I have 2-3 players.  The campaign will begin in a small port town on the edge of the Lhazaar Principalities.  You've lived here for several years since the war, "relaxing" more or less, doing odd jobs, you've grown to like the simple sea folk here and consider yourself a native, regardless whether you come from the town one over or from Sharn.

DnDorks on Advancing Hordes!
artmonkey 6/24/2006

Hey everybody!  You may have noticed the Advancing Hordes banner over to the right, or the occasional one up at the top.  They're a pretty neat online store full of a variety of dice (including some totally freakish ones, d7 anybody?) and miniatures.  You'll definitely want to check them out.  If nothing else, they probably have some nice gift ideas for your gamer friends.

Anyway, there's a special bonus strip over on Advancing Hordes, at the bottom of the page.  It rotates, so you may have to refresh a few times, but that's ok because then you're exposed to more neat dice.  What are you waiting for?  Advance upon Advancing Hordes now!

Fear our Quote Madness on Buzz
richardm 6/20/2006

First the fantastic artist Todd Lockwood gave us a quote for Buzz.

Well, it's like Goblins, only completely different

Now Sean K Reynolds (fantastic writer thats done a lot of work in the Forgotten Realms area) has given us one to put on Buzz.

When it comes to webcomix, Goblins is Number Two

Hmm, are those compliments?  Wait a minut.... anyways, no longer will Goblins lord it over on us that they have D&D developers and artists giving them quotes..  Or, after looking closer at those quotes, will they lord it over us more?  Hmmm.

Anyways, we haven't been doing our part by putting out more incentive comics, and, only fairly, our vote numbers have sunken on buzz.  We're going to try and redouble our efforts and reward you for continued voting, I might even put up a little thing you might find humorous, kind of a Dndorks blooper...I'll keep everyone apprised of when it goes up.
