I agree George likely made a good roll there. I dunno how heavy they are in the USA, but here in Hollnad those things are pretty damn heavy. He'll probably have to make a save to see if his back didn't suffer any damage (judging from his face it would be a close call).

Its taken us a lot of work to get to this point.  Internal squabbles, people getting kicked out, etc.  The amount of votes we've been getting this week has definitely helped us to redouble our efforts and try to make our incentive comic a priority as well. 

What I think is really cool, is that if 1/2 of the unique visitors voted for 1 day, we'd instantly be in the top 10 of Buzz, like #7 or so.  That seems pretty incredible to me, so we've really been scrambling to try and earn people's votes.

Also, I was wondering . . . for your games section, would you be interested in fan-made Flash games? A new type of fanart, you might say . . . I've just finished a semester long course in making Flash games, and am decently skilled at it, and would love to try out a few ideas I've had!

Jacen: Lets just say the last two writers were left behind when they didn't want to or couldn't write scripts on a timely basis. 

Luckily for Dndorks, unlike most comics, the writer here really has an easy time, just write the scripts provide a bit of organization, and Jason does a fantastic job drawing the comic, while Jenn does a great job of fixing errors in the scripts and whatnot.  So its important for the writer (currently me) to not abuse that trust and provide plenty of material well ahead of time for them to use.

We'd gladly accept some fan-based flash games.  There are going to be some huge updates for dndorks coming soon, as well as a plethora of reviews, but I have a persistent client who keeps wanting me to work on his "paying" stuff. :(  Sheesh, they should just send me a check and be happy whenever I get done. ;), but the flash-based section is probably going to be left alone for quite a while unless you take up the mantle of providing interesting things (Jason is too busy with other projects atm)

Badman:  I was wondering when/if  people would bring that up, and you can be sure that as things become more apparant to the group, Ethan will start wondering the same kinds of things...

I checked the position for the cominc on buzz and it's up to 19.and only 4 more votes to hit 18 :D

Yeah, working on that paying stuff, it's a bugger huh.

It also helps that the writer is Married to our much loved colour girl.

Postnuke is fighting us a bit, its interesting to see the fans of the other comics respond a bit to competition. 

I monitor the sites throughout the day, and as we get closer, the number of votes per second for the next comic we're approaching at least "seem" to increase, then once we surpass them they seem to return to normal (of course I only watch the previous comics for a bit while we're close then ignore them). 

I just seem to notice "clumps" of votes hit the next site as we get close, of course I acknowledge it may just be a trick of perception (though it doesn't happen with all sites).

Looking forward to getting in the top 10, when we first decided to turn out attention back to Buzz (and thus potentially getting some new visitors to help liven up the forums potentially), I was hoping to get in the top 50, we did that practically overnight, so then I was hoping to get in the top 25.  Looking at the number of votes we've been getting compared to our most immediate competition, I now think it will be easy enough to get into the top 10, unless other people start really fighting us on it.

So great job everyone!  Thanks for any help you choose to send our way. :)

I used to vote for you all the time on the comixs.  But you used to have good characters that used to play D&D.   :P

Technically we didn't have characters who played D&D, we practicaly only had D&D characters.

But that's ok, with this storyline we have more readers then we did with the other storyline.  So while we may have not pleased you with this change, we apparently have pleased more people.

So relax I "mostly" didn't get annoyed at you.
