4/6/2009 - Ethan takes it like a man...er tiefling man

I can certanly relate.  How many times have I said these creatures are so easy, and then it begins.  :-(..

I like that line "and then it begins."  :)

Hehe, not long ago, one of my player laughed at the wyvern blocking the adventurers path. He's very much a munchkin and all his character are maximised for combat. but with a very lucky dice, the wyvern did hit him, and we all laughed when he failed his save Vs poison the and lost 12 Con on it, but the hilarity was at his best when he fumbled his second saves and lost another 11 Con! It felt so good killing that character! lol

*Note : My players throw their own stats damage, so he really "killed" himself that time.

Sigh, I had a young fighter who was in the process of taking a bath in the river when he was interupted to go slay half a dozen goblins.  Unfortunately all he had was a dagger, a smile and lots of clean bare skin.  Fortunately he threw really good and after the 4th one went down was feeling very cocky.  As he threw his knife and killed #5 little Mr. Goblin #6 slipped a short sword into his back all the way through him.  Hate when that happens. 

Had to be rescued by a Halfling rogue who had just happened to steal from them and created the ruckus in the first place.  It never pays to be cocky at the beginning of a fight because it always comes back to bite you in the big dimple.  First time I have ever felt sorry for Ethan.......sort of..........well not much but a little bit. 

 Heh. I always got a kick out of "Claw, Claw, Bite".
