So... like... hi.

So I haven't talked  in a while, been kinda' busy. Well, not JUST busy but also side tracked. How busy/side tracked am I? Well, I picked up one of the PS2 controllers the other day and had to blow off the layer of dust that covered it before I could use it... it was craziness.

'Course, that doesn't mean I haven't been playing the Xbox, because I have. What game? Well... Ninja Gaiden. I bought this game, popped it in and then... I had to change pants; it's THAT awesome of a game. I'd love to write a review on it but I'm too busy playing it (and it is a rather lengthy game) It's beauty is only outmatched by its game play, which, like the swallows returning to Capistrano, is a majesty that can only be caught in nature. Its ferverous pace and intuitive controls make cutting off a head look like what a stroke from Leonardo's brush must have looked like. It's hard too, I can't imagine what it's going to be like when I actually play it on hard mode. I'm glad it's hard though, usually I just blaze through games like nobody's business and pull only the memory of it away with me. This? This is different; I can only grin when I'm beaten down by a boss for the seventeenth time in anticipation of the eighteenth for the challenge brings such a new taste to my lips.

Also, there's going to be a huge online tournmanet starting in May, so be sure to buy it and practice up so I can slice off your head.

So, better catch up on current events that are going on with the world... let's see... oh yeah! Something really important:

Starsky & Hutch came out last Friday and O... M... G. We saw it opening day and it was AWESOME. No, no... it was T3H AWESOME! I loved it so much, I definitely think it's Ben Stiller's greatest movie to date, with Mystery Men as number 2 and There's Something About Marry number 3. It was clever, it was fast paced; it's well displacement of jokes and action was like what the sun must've witnessed when he watched God create the earth. Am I recommending it? Yes. Will you see it? Yes.

Humm humm... other news.

Oh yes, “The Passion of the Christ” busted the $200 bajillion dollar mark recently, which is groovy for it; yay Mr. Gibson. Doesn't really interest me (I read the book) but I hear it's really good. Lot a' controversy over it, though I don't see why. Lots of Jews are mad because they're afraid they'll get the wrap for killing the J-Meister; worried about anti-semitism and all that even though it was 2000 years ago. Does it really matter if they did it? I mean... he did come back so really... no harm, no foul right? Meanwhile nobody seems too bad about pinning it on the Romans... poor Romans.

Gay marriage is a big deal right now too... here's my stance on that since I'm sure you're wondering. Whether you want to marry someone of the same sex or not, you shouldn't do it illegaly. People who're getting married in California and New York and other places where it's against the state constitution are breaking the law, which not only makes them criminals but it makes the marriage void. It's practically hurting the gay movement to do what they're doing, forcing their will on the people. Some people just can't accept the fact that they live in a democracy. Now, I won't get into whether I'm pro or anti gay/gay marriage, but that's how I feel about illegal gay marriages.

Yeah, and also, we're going to the San Diego Comic Con this year. Don't really have any plans except to take all our video games and kick massive ass. Maybe we should get like a sign up sheet of people who want to challenge “da' master”... did I mention I love video games?

So that's all for now, I'm actually at work right now constructing what is to be my greatest flash to date. DAMN it's pretty...

Until Mareg admits it's just a sun burn, make mine Dorky!

Yo.
So Jason drew feetses and stuff.  Anyways, uhm Rich wanted this to be longer then the last one so....uhm...::twiddles thumbs:: OH!  So hey what do you guys want to be called?  You as in the fans.  I mean El Goonish Shive has his fans as Bunnies (only he knows why..well and anyone who reads the fillers).  Bigger than Cheeses calls his fans Cheesites so what do you want to be called??  So tell me what you think.  *waves*

Jason

Heh... Dorks.

Hey, that's a keen idea!  You should definitely read the rant below and click on the link if you can think of a clever moniker for those of the DnDorks community... So is 'Dork' too obvious?  We had some 'Dorklings” for a while... Hmmm.

By the way, we've probably mentioned it before, but the DnDorks crew is planning on being at a comics convention in Californ-eye-ay in July, so if you wanna meet us there, say hi, maybe play some games or something, come on down!

Color Girl Jenn

*cough*

Since Jason didn't mention it....the games in question will either be console or maybe even tabletop games, but we're bringing tv's and our xbox, playstation, and gamecube to play with anyone there.  Come on I know you all want to prove to ryan that he really is t3h suck ;)
