hello, and might I say first? Because it says there aren't any comments as of yet, that is my assumption.
Love the comic, really.
yea for Kuiper belt objects!
Ah Memories. I wasn't reading this comic back in the early days but now I can comment on the early ones.Ah DM... Already showing signs of that his god like power (in game) would go to his head (I love the "Excellent")
:O! Ethan! BoYar! I love the shadowed look for him, he deserves more of it :)
And while I generally try and avoid it... Come on... You know those comics were great. "Reload" the old worst player comics (please? Don't make me beg....)
Actually Thatch, that calculus book is spelled correctly. In the original roman lettering "U" looked like "V", thats why "W" is a double U.
Note: I have no idea what they used for "V"
I'm sorry AZN you're wrong. That's a draft of a resolusion that was proposed.... it didnt' past. The final decision of the IAU is that Pluto is not a planet.

Or in simpler less scientific terms
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2006/08/060824-pluto-planet.html
We only have 8 planets now and a handful of 'Dwarf Planets' Pluto being one of them.
Ah, the situation with Pluto, very clever. Adding current topics into rehashes of years-old comics is a clever little juxtaposition, by the way.
A funny thought came to me. Imagine when someone just comes into DnDorks for the first time and sees this comic. Then he goes to the beginning of the archives and realizes he's reading the same comic with different structuring and art. I'm sure a few double takes would occur at that point.
After a little while we are going to move the redone comics back to only the beginning, and we're going to remove the beginning ones from the normal archive.
We'll probably make another link with all comics that are replaced, and have it be something like "Dndork's beginnings" or something.
Hrm but will this create continuity problems.... If the begining is set today how can in the past they have commented on things as current events later? The laws of space and time are crying....
But anyway notice the change in script from the original,
"Hello is this the DM"
"Yeah I'm DM."
I'm beginning to think the joke isn't that no one's bothered to ask his name, but rather he goes by his innitials which happen to be DM. (Like JJ, or DJ, or such), and he doesn't realize no one knows his name since they refer to him as DM (Dungeon Master).
Aemios: What I am wondering is how far will the re-do go on? Will we see just the intro, or will we go as far as the Staff of the Maji quest?
We want to eventually replace all comics that weren't drawn by Jason.
Nived: > _> No of course not.
Oh, definitely keep the original comics. While I think it's unanimously agreed that Jason's artistic styling is superior to the experimenting of the past, one shouldn't ever forget his or her roots. Though I agree, a separate archive in the vein of "The Origins" or some such will be the most effective way to deal with this revamp.
On the subject of my avatar, the green beret kobold is the illustration for the kobold entry in the d20 Modern rulebook's bestiary, which I... herm, borrowed... as my avatar. I have an undying love for kobolds, and I have an undying love for spec ops, so naturally green beret kobolds are da bomb. \,,/
Poor Ethan, didn't even have a Cell Phone yet. Hm, will these be updated as far as the "How to Draw Ethan" one? *Checks to see who drew it.*
Is it my imagination, or is the nametag of the Kobold in Minsk's avatar "Meepo"?
Nope it is meepo. :D
And that was drawn by Jason so I don't think it'll be redone.
