Creepy old divine necromancer.

It was a dark night. The battling troops were resting.
Benjamin Grenathin sat on a rock, waiting.. He watched as the guards came and went. He straightened his hunched back. There was the marshal. Had the changeling failed or was it the shapeshifter walking towards him? It didn't matter. Benjamin had been instructed to kill the assassin too, as the Blood didn't want to pay him. He waited for the marshal to come within range of his spells while at the same time being out of sight from the guards. Yes, there was no doubt now that it was the changeling who was walking towards him. Benjamin took out a small pouch, which he opened, letting a small trickle of powdered bone fall into the palm of his hand. He muttered a dark incantation and threw the dust towards the assassin. The changeling gave a surprised groan and fell to the ground with a soft clatter of plate mail. Benjamin approached the corpse. He had been right. The body was now the strange white of a changeling in it's original form. He brought it home to his master.

Benjamin sat in his humble cabin, waiting for a special visitor. He had seen quite a few warforged since the end of the War, but this one, Adamant, was special. He had witnessed it fight down five bandits all by itself. He'd had been eager to get this warmachine on his side, but the people it'd rescued took it away too quickly. Now, after three years, he had finally found it. It was easy to find. It stood out amongst the warforged for its extraordinary forging. It was one thing to have added a blade to one arm, but quite another to be made nearly entirely of adamantine. It was rare that someone put that much money in a mere soldier.
The door opened.
"Ah, Adamant, would you close the door, please? I guess you won't sit down. I invited you to come here to discuss a few things. You'll have quite a long time to decide my offer.."

"A good work, Benjamin," the master of the Blood said, smiling.
"Thank you master." Benjamin Grenathin had for once been offered to sit down by the fire. The chair was good. His master glad, and so was Benjamin.
"It was rather astonishing that you actually *told* the city guard that you were of the Blood and your whole quest plus your full name. Of course, they wouldn't believe anyone who said such things in public, allowing you to get the Shard and return it to me. A very good job indeed! You shall be rewarded."
"Thank you again, master!"
"Quit your bootlicking, and take a book of your choice from the Library."
"I shall do as you ask."
How can he be so stupid? How can he give me Mhra'zgu'Nark freely? Did the Shard mean so much for him? It was simply a crude would-be copy of a true Dragonshard. It holds no real power at all. I'd better be careful..
