Horribly burned by a mob car-bomb as a youth, Albert Gumble turned to dark arts to give him the strength to seek revenge. While not a mystic in his own right, he's acquired a pair of magical artifacts to help him on his quest for vengeance against organized crime and criminals in general.

Mighty Morph - Shape-shifting Show-off

Defends justice, fights for what's right, or at least he wants people to think.  What he really wants is fame, money and women.  Gary Brunswick's life was altered at a drunken frat party when he accidentally stumbled onto a secret gene manipulation project while looking for a restroom.  When Gary started to relieve himself on the machine it short-circuited and blasted Gary with an energy that altered him so he could shape shift into anything, inanimate objects, animals, or celebrities. When he takes certain shapes he can adjust certain abilities of himself, slightly. He is a bit dumb, brash, and single minded, but can be incredibly intimidating and effective when need be.

Telluric Trooper - Master of Electro-Magnetism!

Kieth Henderson seems to be your average college student and math major, but when the need arises, he doesn't hesitate to put on the mask and intervene as The Telluric Trooper, an electro-magnetically supercharged hero! Even if it means missing a class. For the fifth time this month.
Again. Sigh.
Still, he doesn't begrudge his sense of duty and mysteriously gained powers for pushing him ever closer to losing scholarship, for sacrifice is part of being a hero! Mostly.
Using his powers, The Telluric Trooper (hereafter referred to as Trooper, or just Troops) can weild ambient electro-magnetic energy in any given area to create spectacular phenomina. At close range, he can shock people with a small burst of electricity, stunning and even knocking out more ordinary foes. But when distance is important (and it is, considering his decidedly non-super resistance to harm) ol' Troops can use the same technique to shove or tug things, especially objects with metal in them. This makes him a formidable foe to anyone who doesn't appreciate heavy sewer caps or trash cans being flung at them at high speeds. He can even use his affinty for all things mathematical to calculate trajectories for flung objects, giving surprising accuracy to an otherwise wildly unpredictable attack. Whats more, he can use the same ability to tug at metal things, too, sending them tumbling towards him. Fine control beyond that, however, is a little beyond him.
But don't think that just because he strikes from afar that he's a pushover, prospective villains, for the Telluric Trooper can call forth a field of Electro-Magnetic Interference that severely hampers any incoming attacks, especially ones that involve metal. Of course, when fighting isn't the answer, the Trooper has a wide variety of other uses for his amazing abilities. These days, fine electronics are particularly vulnerable to electromagnetic fields, and The Telluric Trooper has found he can emit an Electromagnetic Pulse with a little preparation, which can send nearby electronics going haywire, or fry them entirely. And finally, using some strange form of electromagnetic phenomena that we won't bother to detail much for fear of revealing that it's scientifically impossible, Troops can weave a subtle field of electromagnetic energy around him and nearby citizens that deflects light, rendering him invisible... or at least, very hard to detect by normal means.

And there you have it! Villains, tremble in fear, for the Telluric Trooper takes no exceptions when he's out hunting... Eeeeee-vil!

Klaus Skolnik - Mad Scientist
(Ben's Spotlight Character)

As a rogue Scientist, he cannot get funding and materials for his work through normal channels, so he's resorted to crime and such to get what he needs. After all he's a genius: how can his works be considered less worthy than other peoples? He deserves all the money and stuff more than they do. His motivations include revenge against: the dullards who mocked his intelligence while growing up, "Those Fools At The Institute(tm)", and anyone else who gets in his way. Despite his obviously villainous actions, he still considers himself a generally good person and is alway confused when heroes try and stop him.

Dark Star - Master of Gravity
(Prsntypething's Spotlight Character)

Dark Star is a villan that once lived in a poor part of town and when he was in 6th grade he began to be able to lift things many times his weight as though they were 3 oz. at first he thought that he was becoming super strong, but he then realized that he was actually making the things lighter, and he began to make other things hevier. once Robert Stevenson, or bobby as his mom called him, (he had no firends) realized what was happening he deduced that it was gravity manipulation. bobby is increadibly inteligent and has a grudge against society for never making life anything less than hell for him. he decided the only way to live better was to destroy those that would prevent it. bobby used his gifts to help himself train stength and endurance and also let his mother and him live well. even with all of the development of his stengths Robert still could be considered a momma's boy.that may be his one true weakness, that and his weak eyesight.

Kalgalath - Chaos Demon

Can channel the raw force of chaos and bend it to his will creating whatever effect he has in mind. (Great for powerful spells, not so good for complex castings or rituals)  Having lived so long and lost so much in his life, he is generally unimpressed by those who consider themselves important, and pays them no heed. Since most of them are convinced that all should be in awe of them, they usually try to make him see things thus as well, at which point he generally tends to take them down a few pegs.

Scoravae Exthul - Channeler

Ability(enhanced by his gauntlets) to channel (magic/cosmic energy) into whatever form he requires. He is driven by his desires, and by his belief that people, in essence, are flawed. He believes that through rigorous training and dedication, such as he has been through they can better themselves. A very calm, calculating person, who shys from nothing, even the hand of death.
